HELPING LEADERS THRIVE IN LEADERSHIP & LIFE
SUPERVISION
  • Pastoral Supervision is about collaborating with a trained supervisor to draw the best out of you through active reflection on your practice of ministry, which over time settles into wisdom - knowing the right thing to do/say/decide at the right time. Whether you are newer to ministry or more experienced, supervision will help you stretch beyond where you are now. The supervision relationship is characterised by trust, confidentiality, voluntary accountability, support and freedom to explore issues arising in your ministry.

ENDORSEMENTS

"Ian has an abundance of experience, resources to give and great wisdom. 5 stars"

Keith Walker, Chaplain in NSW

“Recently I found myself in a particularly challenging ministry context that pushed me to my personal and professional limits. I can confidently say that I would not have survived this contract period without the assistance of Ian Duncum.

Ian was my professional supervisor for the full 2 years I spent in this role. My monthly sessions with him were a lifeline for me. I particularly appreciated Ian’s ability to supervise in a broad sense - i.e. he was able to bring reflection, spiritual direction, knowledge of church governance/conflict, strategic insights and inspiration to our discussions.

I believe Ian’s background in church consultancy equips him to be a professional supervisor of incredible appeal for those working in church-aligned ministry settings.

In all my dealings with Ian, I found him to be generous, focused, authentic, efficient, professional, personal, well prepared and engaged. I would have no hesitation in recommending his professional supervision services to anyone.”

Marty Thompson, Residential Chaplain

"Thank you for the space to debrief and process...it has been a great blessing to me."

Joel Noonan, Church Multiplication Facilitator, Baptist Association NSW/ACT
